For me, the best thing about being a Parisienne (despite the fact I speak pitiful French and I never have any idea where I am) is the culture surrounding food.

Dismally bad pix of a mindblowingly good meal @awongsw1 last night - a 26 dish (though I lost count) banquet divided into six collections of extraordinary tastes and textures. Plus a wine pairing with each course including a glass of Dom Pérignon. Meal of a lifetime. Feel incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity to try it.
