Nothing makes me happier than the new season’s spring produce but if you feel it’s a bit early for it weather-wise try this clever recipe from @robjhowell’s gorgeous new book Root. It’s a warm dish of Jersey potatoes with peas, wild garlic and crème fraîche and I can’t think of anything I’d rather eat at the moment. A tip: even the dullest cans are improved by drinking them really cold and straight from the tin.
