I’ve been trying to persuade my hugely talented stepson @flynvibert to sell his work for a while but he’s finally decided to as part of the #artistsupportpledge in response to COVID-19. The idea is that artists post an image of a piece of work they’re willing to sell for £200. Once they reach £1000 in sales they in turn must buy another artist’s work for £200. His work, which he explains overleaf, is extraordinary - between art and photography or, as one critic put it, between the table and the chair. (He creates the images entirely without digital manipulation.) I’ve always said to him that he will be famous one day.
