Starting backwards the most sublime custard tart @restosune last night. Also don’t fail to order the charred flatbread, fried pigs head and oysters with kumquat mignonette and dip into the brilliant winelist including this Bacchus/Ortega blend from Natalia Harris in Sussex. New one on me but excellent. Thanks @abbiemoulton for showing me your local.

Hard to see where the beetroot stops and the bowl begins with this delicious beetroot borani I rustled up from a bunch a neighbour kindly donated from her garden. The recipe comes from Sam and Sam Clark’s book Morito but you can find it online on the @thehappyfoodie website. Topped with crumbled feta, walnuts and dill it’s guaranteed to win round beetroot haters. @sams_moro @moritotapas
