As I was felled by a nasty bug on my return from Italy I had to cancel my plans to go up to London so spent the money I’d have spent on my train ticket on a cheering bunch of flowers from @arena_flowers instead. Most of them are in a big vase in the hall but I’ve got the hyacinths in a smaller vase next to where I’m working where they’r wafting their scent through the kitchen.

Why don’t we buy ourselves flowers more often? They don’t have to be expensive - just a bunch of daffs will do it. Or maybe you do?
