Pitch-perfect vitello tonnato with wonderfully tender rose veal followed by a fiery southern-Italian style spaghetti with squid. In fact the whole menu has got more Italian: our wine - a deep-coloured Vino di Anna rosato from Sicily - was too. Sunlight streaming through the windows, endlessly entertaining company from @trevorgulliver and flawless unfussy cooking from owner Ed Wilson who is one of the best chefs in town. What’s not to love?
