Absolutely cracking birthday lunch @quince_westgate yesterday.

All washed down with a couple of glasses of Albariño

Great little neighbourhood restaurant on the Kent coast. A real find.

Fried feta with honey and chilli @toklas_london which we mistakenly ordered to share between three of us. You really need 3 of your own. (They’re not quite as big as they look - I went in close to grab the pic!).
Drank a glass of @filipa_pato Dinamica white Bairrada from Portugal with it if you were wondering which went perfectly. Just a touch of tropical fruit which offset the sweetness of the honey.

Had such a craving to make @dianahenryfood’s courgette, lime and pistachio cake that I made it for pud yesterday - with a few raspberries on the side to make it more dessert-like. It’s well worth breaching the Telegraph paywall for (not a sentence I find myself saying very often). As you can see from the rather rubbish photo we made significant inroads into it!
