Fried feta with honey and chilli @toklas_london which we mistakenly ordered to share between three of us. You really need 3 of your own. (They’re not quite as big as they look - I went in close to grab the pic!). Drank a glass of @filipa_pato Dinamica white Bairrada from Portugal with it if you were wondering which went perfectly. Just a touch of tropical fruit which offset the sweetness of the honey. It’s been a blast . . . #edinburghfestival #augustBack at my favourite Edinburgh restaurant @the_palmerston last night for a predictably superb meal. In random order, starting with the roast hake, bacon and agretti (they’re particularly good on fish), melon and cucumber salad with feta, cured trout and crème fraiche crostini and goats curd ice cream with roast strawberries and almond crumble which we shared and wished we hadn’t.
