Bye Edinburgh. It’s been a blast . . . #edinburghfestival #augustBack at my favourite Edinburgh restaurant @the_palmerston last night for a predictably superb meal. In random order, starting with the roast hake, bacon and agretti (they’re particularly good on fish), melon and cucumber salad with feta, cured trout and crème fraiche crostini and goats curd ice cream with roast strawberries and almond crumble which we shared and wished we hadn’t. Lovely glass of crémant and a bottle of Trebbiano d’abruzzo. Boom!
