Not only did we celebrate the first of our Honey & Co Sunday wine clubs* yesterday but it also produced an outstanding match of the week: this savoury-sweet Palestinian chicken dish and a valpolicella ripasso.

Despite me being old enough to be her mum @rosiefoodie and I have a lot in common on top of our spookily similar surnames. Then what looks like a minor massacre on the tablecloth when I failed to demolish the beetroot taco in one bite. Great lunch, great company in the form of fellow Bristolian @5oclockapron. Thanks @merlin_johnson for the treat. #guestMy entry point into London being Paddington I don’t often make it across to Hackney but it was worth it for last night’s meal @miga.restaurant. Delicious tofu - not words I generally use together - wonderfully light and airy, japchae noodle salad and pork belly with king oyster mushroom. A modern take on Korean food from a charming family-run restaurant.
