I generally go for a crisp, citrussy white wine with light Mexican dishes like this one - but I happened to have a bottle of chilled rosé in the fridge and it proved the perfect pairing.

Fried feta with honey and chilli @toklas_london which we mistakenly ordered to share between three of us. You really need 3 of your own. (They’re not quite as big as they look - I went in close to grab the pic!). Drank a glass of @filipa_pato Dinamica white Bairrada from Portugal with it if you were wondering which went perfectly. Just a touch of tropical fruit which offset the sweetness of the honey. In random order, starting with the roast hake, bacon and agretti (they’re particularly good on fish), melon and cucumber salad with feta, cured trout and crème fraiche crostini and goats curd ice cream with roast strawberries and almond crumble which we shared and wished we hadn’t.
