You can’t really see the crab but this was an absolutely cracking dish of bucatini cooked Malaysian style with crab, garlic, soy and crispy chilli oil from @julielincooks terrific new book Sama Sama. (The chilli crisp puttanesca). Lots of similarly inventive and enticing recipes. Check it out next time you’re in a bookshop.

The loveliest of salads (fennel, peas, broad beans and pecorino) followed by boudin noir with spring veg (an unlikely but brilliant combination) last night at @cave.bristol. Top use of in season ingredients by @charliehearncooks.
