The Belgians take their charcuterie seriously down to an entire section in the supermarket. Fun to make a charcuterie board back where we’re staying. (So much cheese we had to put that on a separate board!) Also great mustard (and great chocolate, waffles and beer obvs) #charcuterie #paté #ham #salami #waterlooGlorious meringue mountain at @auxmerveilleuxdefred_brussels.Absolutely cracking birthday lunch @quince_westgate yesterday. . Cured Chalk Stream trout with cucumber dressing and trout roe . . Skate with bouillabaisse sauce and smoked prawns . . And basque cheesecake with summer berries All washed down with a couple of glasses of Albariño . Great little neighbourhood restaurant on the Kent coast. A real find. #curedtrout #skate #basquecheesecake #westgateonsea #birthdayweekendFried feta with honey and chilli @toklas_london which we mistakenly ordered to share between three of us. You really need 3 of your own. (They’re not quite as big as they look - I went in close to grab the pic!). Drank a glass of @filipa_pato Dinamica white Bairrada from Portugal with it if you were wondering which went perfectly. Just a touch of tropical fruit which offset the sweetness of the honey.
