Ok mash might not have been the most photogenic dish to pick from an utterly glorious meal @josephinebouchon but if you make perfect mash the rest of the meal is likely to be great too.

Which it was.

Pitch perfect quenelle de brochet, saucisson brioché in an outrageously rich sauce Beaujolais (mind you all the sauces are outrageously rich) and a fabulously airy oeuf à la neige.

Lyon in Fulham. What more do you want?
