Dismally bad pix of a mindblowingly good meal @awongsw1 last night - a 26 dish (though I lost count) banquet divided into six collections of extraordinary tastes and textures. Plus a wine pairing with each course including a glass of Dom Pérignon. Meal of a lifetime. Feel incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity to try it. Andrew Wong is an extraordinarily talented and imaginative chef. #guest

Palate-challenging afternoon judging for @guildoffinefood jumping from roast beef to spicy marinades to strawberry jam - an absolute switchback ride for the tastebuds! Ok mash might not have been the most photogenic dish to pick from an utterly glorious meal @josephinebouchon but if you make perfect mash the rest of the meal is likely to be great too.

Which it was.

Pitch perfect quenelle de brochet, saucisson brioché in an outrageously rich sauce Beaujolais (mind you all the sauces are outrageously rich) and a fabulously airy oeuf à la neige.

Lyon in Fulham. What more do you want?
