Lovely to be back @caperandcure last night for the launch of their new menu which included this beautiful plate of Cornish seabream carpaccio with oyster mayo and blood orange, scallop with apple, crispy pork skin and asparagus and a lovely wobbly pannacotta with the first of the new season’s strawberries. Oh and some perfect little brioche rolls with herb butter. (Love a brioche roll!) Such a warm, welcoming neighbourhood restaurant and great to catch up with @seldon_curry and @liberty.curry.3 of @theseasideboardinghouse

Fascinating sake tasting last night with Olly Hilton-Johnson of @tengusake and sake expert @anthonyrosewine at @vagabondwines Monument. So many unexpectedly good pairings - charcuterie, burrata, steak, OCTOPUS (with sweet potato)! Who knew? Really good food for a large city wine bar too.
