The one thing you really don't need this Thanksgiving morning is advice. Every food site on the World Wide Web is crammed with tips. Talk about information overload . . .

So I'm going to keep it brief. Very brief. One word, in fact and that is . . .  Shiraz.

There are of course many possibilities in terms of wines to go with turkey and you may well have lined up a Merlot, a Pinot Noir or even a Chardonnay, all of which will be perfectly fine. But if you're desperately scratching around for a bottle and haven't got anything special in mind Shiraz with its exuberant, opulent fruit will hit the spot perfectly. It may not be traditional but everyone will love it.

That's it. I'm not going to detain you further. Have a fabulous day and a very happy Thanksgiving from us all.
