Schnitzel with noodles

Q  Please could you tell me what wine you would serve with Wiener Schnitzel served with red cabbage and apples and noodles.

As your dish is Austrian-inspired I'd go for a Gruner Veltliner, a very fresh-tasting, crisp Austrian white that's really hot right now in a lot of top restaurants. If you can't get hold of that I'd suggest a dry Austrian or German riesling. (I think it's basically a white wine dish but if you want to serve a red try a soft, fruity merlot without too much oak or an Italian Dolcetto.)
